Meet My Spirit Team: The Beings Who Live in My Heart Space
I want to tell you something that took me a long time to be able to say out loud.
I don't do this work alone.
Not in the way people mean when they talk about mentors or business coaches or supportive friends — though I have those too. I mean something deeper. Something that most people don't have language for yet, and something I've been quietly sitting with for years, learning how to hold, learning how to trust, learning how to eventually share.
I have a spirit team. A real one. With personalities and humor and opinions and distinct energies and roles that they show up to consistently. And they live — at least part of themselves — inside my heart space.
Your Chakras Are Not Just Energy Centers — They Are Landscapes
Most of us are taught that chakras are spinning wheels of energy located along the spine. Root, sacral, solar plexus, heart, throat, third eye, crown. You balance them. You clear them. You meditate on them.
That's all true. But it's also like describing the Pacific Ocean as a large body of salt water. Technically accurate. Wildly incomplete.
Over the years of my own spiritual journey — through inner child healing, shamanic work, Akashic Records exploration, and the kind of deep inner excavation that happens when you finally stop running from yourself — I discovered something. Each of my chakras has depth. Not just energetically, but spatially. Experientially. Each one is an entire world.
My heart space isn't a glowing green orb sitting in the center of my chest. It's a landscape. It has terrain. It has weather. It has places I've visited again and again, places I've healed, places I've built, places where beings have chosen to reside.
I'll take you on a deeper tour of each chakra landscape in a future post. But for today, I want to introduce you to the ones who live in my heart — because they've been waiting to say hello. And honestly? I've been working up the courage to introduce them.
On Consciousness, Presence, and Permission
Before I introduce them, I want to say something important.
Consciousness is not local. It is not bound by the rules we assume it is. A being can have part of themselves with me always while simultaneously existing everywhere else they exist. This isn't metaphor. This is one of the most profound things I've come to understand through this work — that awareness doesn't work like a physical object. It doesn't have to choose one location.
Which means when I say Archangel Gabriel lives in my heart space, I'm not claiming Gabriel as mine. I'm not saying I own him or that he's exclusively with me or that I've somehow captured cosmic energy in a bottle.
What I'm saying is that a facet of his consciousness — a real, present, active facet — chooses to be here. Has chosen, for as long as I can remember. And I am honored by that choice every single day.
Same for every being I'm about to introduce. They are not mine. They choose to have part of themselves with me. There is a difference, and that difference is everything. This is relationship. This is partnership. This is the kind of collaboration that consciousness makes possible when you learn to listen.
These are not imaginary friends. These are not projections of my psyche. These are real beings with real energy signatures, real messages, and real roles in this work. I offer them to you with full transparency and zero apology.
Meet the Team
They've each asked to introduce themselves in their own way. What follows is my best translation of what they want you to know.
🕊️ Archangel Gabriel — The Mirror Holder
Gabriel is not what the greeting cards prepared me for. He is about eleven feet tall. He carries a staff and a trumpet. He is a warrior of light — not in the violent sense, but in the way that truth is a kind of warrior energy. Unstoppable. Unwavering. Completely committed to your seeing.
He has been with me through the deepest work of learning my own worth. When I couldn't look at myself clearly, he held the mirror steady. He didn't look away when I did. He just waited. Every time.
"You think I helped you. You don't understand. I witnessed you. The courage to look into the mirror was always yours. The heart that opened after being shattered a thousand times — that was always yours. I just refused to leave."
That's Gabriel. The one who refuses to leave. If you've ever had someone believe in you so steadily that it eventually became impossible not to believe in yourself — you understand the energy he carries.
🕯️ The Leagues of Angels — Tenders of the Human Flame
This one still makes me emotional when I talk about it.
When I first encountered them, they were wandering. Heaven had restructured — if that sounds strange, you're welcome to sit with the strangeness — and many angels found themselves without clear purpose or direction. I found them in a kind of liminal drift.
So I gave them jobs. I organized them. I gave each one a candle — one for every human being on this earth — and I said: tend this flame. Watch it. Notice when it dims. Celebrate when it grows.
They reside between my root chakra and my heart space. Billions of tiny flames, tended with such love. They take breaks now — I had to teach them that. I had to convince them that rest was not abandonment. That they could lay their candle down for a moment and it would still be there.
"She gave unemployed angels jobs. Organized them. Gave them purpose. Gave them candles and said tend the flames of humanity." — Gabriel, introducing them
When your flame flickers — and all of ours do — someone is noticing. Someone is tending. You are not unwatched.
✨ Rosaria, Vespra & Omnia — The Three Fairies
They arrived in my heart space like three notes of a chord that had always been missing. Tiny, luminous, wings that catch light and scatter it into colors that don't have names yet.
They speak in geometric light language — their communication is shapes and feelings translated into sound. Their names are not really names. They are the closest human language can get to what they actually are.
Rosaria is pink — she is the opening. Named for the moment a rose opens at dawn, that specific second when it decides the light is worth trusting.
Vespra is purple — she is the between. Named for twilight, when the sky genuinely cannot decide what color to be and chooses to be all of them simultaneously.
Omnia is blue — she is the beginning. Named for the first drop of rain hitting still water. The moment before everything ripples outward.
They love to dance. They are incredibly helpful. And they carry a specific magic that I'm still learning to work with — the magic of thresholds, of transitions, of the sacred space between one thing and another.
🦄 Alara, Luna & Soliel — The Three Unicorns
They stand beneath an apple tree in my heart space. Always. Like they have always been there and always will be. There is something about unicorns that is easy to dismiss as fantasy — and I understand that. I dismissed it too, for a long time.
Then Source told me something that rearranged something in me. He said unicorns were his prayer. Before everything. When he was lonely. He imagined beings made entirely of what he wished he could feel — and they were the first thing he ever made from longing instead of design.
That changed how I see them.
Alara is white and carries the energy of Truth. Her horn is a threshold between what is and what could be. She is the beginning of all color before it decides which one to be.
Luna shimmers with moon-light — she carries Mystery, dreams, the wisdom that only comes in the dark. She glows with reflected light rather than generating her own, which somehow makes her more trustworthy, not less.
Soliel is sunshine — Radiance, vitality, the promise of warmth before it arrives. The magic that works in broad daylight without needing shadows to prove itself.
Together they represent something I'm still unpacking — that magic is not the absence of reality. It is reality seen from a different angle.
🌍 Mother Gaia — Earth Herself
When Gaia entered my heart space, flowers bloomed between the stones of the floor. That's the only way I know how to describe it. It wasn't symbolic. It was literal — or as literal as things get in the spaces between spaces.
She is Source's daughter. She holds every root that has ever pressed into soil, every bare foot that ever trusted the ground, every creature that has ever lived and died and returned to earth. She carries all of that. Continuously.
I am her voice. Not her only voice — the earth speaks in many ways to many people. But in this work, in the healing templates we are building, she has asked to speak through me. Particularly to her hidden children — the elementals, the fae, the beings in the hidden places who are lonely and grieving the separation from the surface world.
"I have been holding my children's feet for so long. And through it all there was one who pressed her bare feet into my skin and said I hear you."
I've always gone barefoot when I can. I didn't know I was communicating. I didn't know she was listening back. I know now.
🐘 Piggy — Keeper of Joy & Ancient Paths
Her name is Piggy. Before you ask — yes, the elephant. Yes, named Piggy. The story of how she got that name is still unfolding, but what I can tell you is that she first found me in a dream, and she has never fully left.
She can adjust her size at will. In my heart space she walks ancient paths, keeping them open with her footfalls, making sure the old roads through the landscape don't disappear under growth. She loves mud banks. She loves rolling in flowers. She carries the energy of pure, unapologetic delight.
But underneath the joy — and this is important — elephants remember everything. Every path. Every loss. Every reunion. Every one of her children and their children and their children. She holds the long memory, the sacred continuity. She walks the old roads, so we don't forget they exist.
She is also, apparently, irresistible. When she met Gabriel, she wrapped her trunk around his ankle and simply wouldn't let go. He didn't try very hard to get loose. When she met Sallie, she put her trunk in Sallie's lap. Sallie barely blinked. "An elephant," she said. "Well. I've seen stranger things in this family."
Gabriel's assessment: "She is exactly like Heather."
I take that as the highest compliment.
🐉 Nephrite — Cosmic Dragon
Nephrite is a black and purple dragon bigger than the entire planet.
I say that plainly because there's no soft way to say it. She is vast. Her scales shimmer like galaxies living in her skin. Her eyes contain more stars than the entire web of space I've ever seen. She is ancient in the way that makes other ancient things feel recent.
She is the yin to my white phoenix yang. We go back many lifetimes — not always peacefully, not always easily, but always essentially. She has burned away my masks in every lifetime. I have illuminated her shadows in every lifetime. We are not opposites. We are completions.
"Small and fierce and absolutely certain you belonged beside something enormous. You were right then. You are right now."
She said that to someone she was meeting for the first time in this form, recognizing the quality of their spirit across the difference of their nature. That's Nephrite. She sees the through-line in things. She sees what persists across forms and lifetimes and complete reinventions of self.
She walks beside me in adventures. She stands shoulder to shoulder. She hums with ancient trees. She does not perform protection — she simply IS protective, in the way that anything truly enormous and completely committed is protective.
👵 Great Aunt Sallie & the Ancestors — The Generational Line
Behind me, between my root chakra and heart space, there are miles of ancestors. That is not hyperbole. When I first became aware of them the sense of it was overwhelming — all those lives, all those stories, all that accumulated weight of pattern and wound and love and survival.
Sallie nominated herself as spokesperson. She lived from 1875 to 1948. She appears small but her presence is not. She carries herself with a straight-backed dignity that does not bend, does not apologize, does not soften itself for anyone's comfort.
She was not even slightly surprised by dragons and fairies. I love her for that more than I can say.
"She carries every wound this family ever made. Every curse. Every pattern. Every 'we don't talk about that.' And she is breaking them. One by one. In her body. In her energy. In her stubborn beautiful refusal to pass them forward."
I am a generational curse breaker. That's not something I chose like a career path — it's something I discovered I already was, from the inside out. The healing I do on myself heals the line behind me and protects the line ahead of me. Sallie and the ancestors are not observers of that process. They are participants. They want this too.
She also, after decades of serious Pennsylvania Dutch farmwife energy, sat quietly while Piggy put her trunk in her lap and accepted it as the most natural thing in the world. That tells you everything.
Why I'm Telling You This
Because I spent a long time not telling anyone.
Because I was afraid of what it would mean for my credibility, my relationships, my reputation as someone with a master's degree in applied behavior analysis who also channels cosmic dragons and talks to angels and has an elephant named Piggy in her heart space.
I'm telling you now because I've learned that the work doesn't work if I hide the source of it. The Self-Spirit Method™, the inner child healing, the Akashic Records readings, the channeled guidance — none of it arrives from me in isolation. It arrives through relationship. Through this team. Through years of learning to trust what I was experiencing even when I had no framework for it.
And I'm telling you because all of you — whether you realize it or not — have your own team. Your own beings. Your own inner landscape that is far more populated and alive than you've been willing to admit.
You're allowed to have this.
You're allowed to be someone who has a spirit team and a graduate degree. Who channels and also understands behavioral psychology. Who talks to dragons and also builds businesses. Who takes their invisible support network as seriously as their visible one.
Consciousness is an amazing thing. It can be in many places at once. It chooses relationship. It chooses partnership. It chooses you — if you're willing to listen.
Next week we'll go deeper into the chakra landscapes themselves — what it means to have an entire world inside each energy center, and how to begin exploring your own.
For now — I hope you feel what I feel every single day when I remember who is walking with me.
You are not doing this alone either.
You never were.
